This Privacy Policy explains how CalsLoop collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, dashboards, and SMS/MMS meal tracking services (collectively, the “Service”).
Information we collect
We may collect information that you provide directly, including:
- Your mobile phone number, account information, nutrition goals, and preferences.
- Meal photos, descriptions, corrections, and resulting nutrition estimates.
- Messages and other communications you send to CalsLoop or participating coaches.
- Subscription, transaction, and customer-support information.
We also collect limited technical and usage information, such as device and browser information, IP address, timestamps, authentication activity, and Service interactions.
How we use it
- Provide meal analysis, nutrition history, goals, reminders, and account features.
- Authenticate users and deliver verification, service, and account messages.
- Process subscriptions, respond to support requests, and maintain the Service.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our terms.
- Comply with law and improve the reliability and usefulness of CalsLoop.
SMS, MMS, and mobile information
When you explicitly opt in, CalsLoop may send recurring SMS or MMS messages related to verification, meal analysis, account activity, and optional reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to service providers solely to operate the messaging program, subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors that help us provide hosting, storage, meal analysis, messaging, payment processing, analytics, security, and customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods can vary by data type and account status. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
Your choices
You may update account information and messaging preferences through available account controls. You may opt out of SMS/MMS messages by replying STOP; reply START to opt back in where supported. You may also request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us. Certain information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.
Children
CalsLoop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date when changes are made.
